Hi everyone, someone suggested that I join this site. I wanted to start off by posting some info about the proposed speedway. I am in no way affiliated, I am only a member of the support group and feel very passionate about support this cause.
It's time for us as motorsport enthusiasts to come together and support our sport. Most of you probably have already heard of the plans, but if haven't please check out their website at
http://www.cdnmotorspeedway.comThis is not just an oval, plans also include a 2.5 mile road course, drag strip, drifting circuit, motocross, karting, bmx bikes, snow cross, eco trails, r&d facility and much more.
Without our support this track may never happen, here's the latest info I received about it.
December 7th Fort Erie Town Council voted unanimously to approve the speedway.
December 9th the Niagara Planning Committee voted unanimously to approve the speedway.
Next step is with Niagara Council - so help the speedway and click the link to send your comments to the Region.
Good day today for the Canadian Motor Speedway Project at Regional Council. The Region Planning Committee voted to send the application to council. A successful day. Step 2 complete. Onward!
