Well i made a post before and didnt get any where lol. But here is my problem i have a 1995 2.4 Swap with SRT-4 Internals and turbo and all that. I had to retime it becuase it skipped a tooth or more witch it did. Had a code 11 witch i fixed and its gone. But when i go to start it , it will start and try to stay running and then die after 5 seconds after i start it. Then some times it wont want to start but it cranks . Someone told me it could be a bad Crank sensor. But i think its something else. Anything i can check before going into the motor and flipping out haha. But please help me out its making me mad.

the only codes i got is:

12 Direct battery input to PCM was disconnected within the last 50 key-on cycles
55 End of error messages (If you get this only, no errors were found)

thats it. I need your pro help.

How bout the basic stuff... what's your compression? Spark on all 4? Fuel pressure? All 4 injectors firing?

illl let you know monday .... im sick now and dont feel like doing anything but. I rewired up the injectors right and checked coil packs. ( Witched them ) i had another one from a 2.4 . but sunday im going to get more gas im about out but ill let you know monday after i get back from junk yard. I hope i feel better lol

but ived tryed everything i could think of.

Rewired my injectors
Changed coil packs.
Changed Crank sensors
Changed Cam sensor thought other one was bad.

See, I don't understand changing coil packs w/o testing for spark on all 4... you can simply take a spare plug and test at each wire... you're swapping stuff w/o testing which makes it difficult to diagnose. If you have a spark problem, and you know it, and you swap coils, and it's still there, you don't move on to injector wiring... you find the problem.

i just put new injector clips and it started up. But i dont know why it spudders and 1000,2000 grand it will spudder but if i rev past that it will not spudder.

Im no turbo guy but its strange that new plug wires solved that bad misfiring.

I assuming your A/F:R is good and doesn't lean out when at the popping or mis fire.

Spark plugs all gapped right? Any dis color on any of them?
I would do a compression test. Skipping teeth not good.

Did you find out why it skipped teeth? could it have slipped slightly again and not degree'd properly?

I check every time. Timing is fine. The old timing belt kept slipping. so i bought an srt-4 racing timing belt. and its been where it put it. Spark plugs are gaped right. It just seems like it spudders when i rev it past 1000,2000 grand. Then if i let it idle it will kinda spudder once in a while. To me sounds like vacuum line but i know its something stupid. Please help and thanks for the help.
