muffler sounds really good imo. nice and deep and since it uses glass packing it doesnt sound hollow like a flowmaster would.
yes the shaft is welded to the butterfly plate.

super stock!
outside.
needs some coilovers such as ipp, or ksports. to lower it.
maybe some different wheels other than the ar-24's
other than that looks good, i like how you did the front end.

I have the 215/60 r14 version of the bfg drag radial. They hook good at speed but are floppily in corners.
Great work btw!

the tires work very well so far. i have only spun them once and that was because the road crested half way through the intersection. i still cant go full throttle, but i did however race my brothers stock srt-4 ( he runs 13.6's) just modulating the throttle to about 5-9psi and stayed dead even with him and even started to pull a little right as we let off at about 70-80.
thanks dom, i cant wait to see how you like this turbo....let me tell you i LOVE it.

Where did you hide your intake pipe and your pipe from the turbo to the intercooler?
How does that mammoth turbo fit hanging down in back like that? Could you maybe get a picture of it so we could get a look at how it all fits in with it like that?

Nice, thanks for the pictures!
What size pipe did you use for the run between the oil pan and the transmission?

thanks. i ditched the holset because i didnt feel it would reach my goals. another option was to make it a nasty nine, but for the price i would have in the turbo at that point i could have bought this turbo......so i did.
i still am very curious to how well it would have done though. hell of a bang for the buck.

just a little update.
the car has been resting in the garage since this cold weather started. i did send my ms out to rs-auto to get a 4 bar map installed along with tach and fan outputs. i plan on one day getting rid of the stock computer and the wiring mess.
i also bought a kirkey seat, i will get some pictures of it up some time soon.

just curious as to why you went the route you did on the hotside of the piping?
isn't it a shorter and easier distance to travel between the harmonic balancer and the suspension on the passenger side, rather than going the way you did? or am i missing something here.
just going by what mine looks like, it seems that the logical area would be to go through the opening between the balancer and the lower control arm, of course, i dont have that axle in yet, so i really dont know the clearances or anything like that. 8O just wondering!

thanks man . engine bay still isnt as clean as i would like, but its an ongoing project for sure.
p.s. like wise on your nyg.....wish i had the time to paint and restore my car like you have....nice work.

well i have had a busy last week. a buddy of mine has a 350z, and recently went on a big time spending spree. the outcome was a turbonetics turbo kit, new axis wheels, carbon fiber front bumper, fenders, hatch, rear bumper, side skirts, hood, doors, mirrors, new sparco seats, and some other bits. i offered to help with the turbo kit install since it would save him something like $800 buckaroos. plus i thought it would be fun. here are some pictures of the process.
this is the queer himself, brian
me
nothing like drilling a hole in the side of a block
blood from relocating the PS cooler. i shouldnt be allowed to use razor blades.
where the two stock headers meet and run up to the front of the car.
done and idling out in front of the house.
i was sick the whole week, and it was cold. after it started and had 0 problems (other than needing colder plugs) it made it all worth while. i will post some finished pitures in a few days with the body kit and stuff.
here is what i have had to deal with since its been cold and i cant "run away" and play with my car. girlfriends are crazy.
she made it. i guess they are PJ's
and this is who bugs me and the dog, cara.

just some little updates. first here is a link to some of the problems i have been having with my lc-1. http://forums.neons.org/viewtopic.php?t=281551 i feel bad for jacking his thread though
also i took the car out last night to the local "hang out" town. there were TONS of cars out since its the first nice weekend of the year. had a blast just driving around and talking to people i havent in awhile. i did also get to witness a crash. a town car flew by me and a friend and got loose over a crest in the middle of a turn. after a few over corrections they slamed a curb and a light pole. about 4-5 guys got out and took off running. it was nuts!
im loving this weather we are having, cant wait to turn op da boooooost

His is sweet, but you are Local, and I might actually see yours in real life.
Too bad mine died a horrific death, or we might have had a good time beating up the local SRT guys

thanks. the thing i noticed when doing all the waxing was how crappy my paint really is. also the wax stuck in all the pits/scrathes so up close it all sticks out like a sore thumb now.
