The R/T already has some minor mods.
-Megan Racing springs on KYB GR2 struts
-Megan Racing front and rear strut bars
-Megan Racing short shifter w/booger bushings.
-2nd gen R/T seats
-3.0 intake
-MSD coil pack (i know it does nothing, probibly will switch back to stock)
Engine is real dirty from gunk due to a terrible headgasket leak.

^ya i'm not going to cut the bumper at all^
the car does have some small dents and what not but it's definately in better condition than what this project was going to go into to.
this is what all the turbo goodies was going to go into before i found the r/t.

here's an update. i blew the motor in the r/t, she finally gave out on me after about 2k miles of being driven with a headgasket leak.
so we pulled the motor out of my other neon, which is in better shape any way. and she should be going to the machine shop this weekend to get all the internals and what not taken care of.
I'll post up more pictures as the project progresses.

I don't know what the future plans are but with the SRT turbo I don't really see a need for the cams or adjustable gears. The two most exspensive parts in the combo. I would use stock cams and gears then use the money for oversized valves and the machine work they would require.

Good luck.. I had one of those and viewing the gauges sucked.. The one by the driver door is impossible while driving without going out of your way to look at it.

Hmmmm... I can always sell it if I dont like it.
I just need something since I have my boost & water temp on the pillar. My wideband & oil pressure gotta go somewhere.
I think I'll just put the water temp & oil pressure in the pod around the gauge since I dont watch those all the time. Just see em when I need to.

Just to warn you. Keep an eye on the SRT boost gauge. Mines wearing out or something like that. Reads 16 in/Hg vacuum at idle but the car is acutally at 20 in/Hg. Just thought I'd give you a heads up.

well it's a nice day here in Arlington tx and before i send my car off to the shop i guess i better get a couple things done.
Painted the VC today.
heres a mock up of it on the car. wheels will be done in the same color..maybe this weekend if weather permits.
and i went ahead and mocked up the foglights just so i could get an idea of what they'll look like on the car.
i like them, they're different. light output should be nice.
and my depo projectors should be here in about 3-4 days so y'all will be getting more pics soon. sorry for the *a#S!d^f* pics, all were taken from my 2mpx camera phone. once the car is all done, i'll get pics of everything with a d40.
