So, I have to run 13 or 14" rims.. No 15"s. I started with factory neon rims, but now I'm upto running breeze rims. Problem is that they are in too far, and the tire comes awefully close to suspension pieces. Are there any other rims I can find at a junkyard that will be at least 6" wide, and offer a better backspacing? this is 5 lug also.
Thanks all, J'Man
97 2dr, 2" lowering, sohc, 95 cam, atx tb, etc.. just the basics.

i think the stratos and sebrigs have 14 inch wheels on them . i have autocrossed in charleston wv and the neons some ran bigger rims. most the time if you are not bone stock you are in a class that there is some up grades done to them. try the cp class you can do a lot to it and still be on a budget and do well . just because there is v8s in that class doesnt mean you cant win. it is all in driving skill and handling of the car not the power . alot of power you are always breaking the tires loose and that is lost time!

so what are the rules? you can run the rallye wheels if the track allows them. as stated in the other post, they are available in 6", and these will definately eliminate any suspension clearance issues. as far as the body, not too sure...... thejunkman2005 wrote: sorry I didn't specify, I race roundy round track. 3/8 mile circle.

rules just state 13 or 14" rims, 65 series tires or larger. I was looking at those rally rims, I've been looking around for a couple days, and haven't found any. They don't seem the easiest to find. I was wondering if the corsica or vw or something like that would give me the 6" rim, and better backspacing. there might be some 7" max rule or something like that, but I don't think so. I'm trying to keep this at a junkyard level car, since I scrap cars in my off time, I might be able to find some for free somewhere...

The alloy rims that Neons came with are 14x6.
