Went to The Rock Sunday for a little t-n-t. I think he did good for his first time back out in few years. MS was working great. First pass out 11.1 then backed it up last pass with a 11.2. Gotta go back to see Mark at Turbo tune for more boost. He is at 20lbs as of now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnhfOqDX2r4

you must be really light...or else your making more power then you think. either way, your getting it done!
I was thinking the same thing, hell guys in the 400 range aren't cutting those 60's or ET. Then again most cars can't even connect the HP to the ground because there suspension sucks.
That's one thing that always drove me nuts, making all sorts of power and having nothing to show for at the 1/4 mile.

Look at the mph! An SRT needs a lot more power to make that kind of mph. In fact, look at some of the 1st gens here and compare the mph and HP numbers to this car. I was a lot over 400 HP when I ran that kind of mph in my car, and I was at 2440 with me in the car too.

FWIW, you only need around 250 HP or so to cut 60' times like that. It's more about getting traction.

Yea. Remember that day we were at the track and I did 1.71 on struts and springs with like 230hp?

Congrats, Josh. It's been a long time coming. Keep up the good work. I'm hoping to get to Darrell's to dyno mine soon. It'll be nasty this go around. Maybe I'll see ya at the track. It'd be nice to see the neons rule the Rock again.

Look for Blue Demon on Pass time episode soon!
Just saw the episode last night!! Car looks great Josh. Nice plug for DCR in your interview. Car went 11.4x @ 125, just barely got eeked out by the Karmann Ghia. One of the contestants commented "looks like a little torque steer in the far lane" - ha! Burnout looked sweet. Looked like the car bogged out of the hole or for whatever reason you short shifted 1st. Still went a low 11 on national TV, thats pretty cool.

I can't remember anymore... I posted that right after I watched the episode. All I can tell you is that he was part of one of those 2-car races where the contestants had to guess the total time.
The first show was on 8/12/09. The show was taped in Charrlotte N.C. @ Z-MAX DRAGWAY. To start the day off around 9am i was one of the last cars to pull up to the track, and didnt even know if i was going to get in. After being there for about 3 hours i got signed up with another car for a combo car pass. When they finally called me up to make the pass its was around 8pm. The other 2 guys other then ken was David Stremme and Roy McCauley. They run only left lane all day long and was the only lane that was preped. When me and the other car pulled up i got the cold right lane, i spun all of 1st gear and half of 2ed. The car did not bog off the line and i did not short shift into 2ed gear, just a cold cold unpreped lane. I did go 11.43@125.26 Not the best pass ever but it was on tv for all the neon lovers.Want to see more of my car check out youtube key word" Blue Demon Neon"

i had the stage 3r on the car and now did the dcr upgrade 3r. here are a few pics from dcr! i went and got the car put on the dyno with the turbo upgrade, didnt have to make any changes in the tune but did adjust a few other things and found out the my apg wastegate was leaking very badly. got a new one put on and put down 400whp on 26psi so a good gain on the 2.0 dohc. hope to get to the track soon to test the car out! i do have the dyno charts and viedo soon as i get time ill get them scaned and up on here.
