Re: Fuel Pressure problems. FIXED. Oil pressure question

ok so the Fuel pressure regulator problem is fixed... What it ended up being was that the piston of the regulator was attached to the wrong side of the diaphram... On one side of the diaphram theres a big "disc" and on the other a small Disc. If you look at the pics above the big disc fits into the ...

Len, are you talking about the big disc on top that the piston is attached to??? If so its the one that was on there when I got it... huh... The only thing that I have not tried is recentering the piston to the disc on top, by losening the bolt that goes into it centering the disc then tightening th...

Re: Fuel Pressure problems..w/pics NOT FIXED GRRRRR

Well I havent figured it out. Heres what I do know... If I hook the RRFPR up so the inlet is in the middle, IE... off the fuel rail to the middle port of the RRFPR my fuel pressure is 65 and will not adjust below that point. If I switch the lines so the return line is in the middle port. My fuel pre...

ok so it could be the kink too though right??? or the connection from the pump to the 6an hose or 6an hose to pushlock fitting on the canister. oh something else... does the gas tank have to be sealed??? When your jumpering out the fuel pump its the top and bottom slots right??? It's not the kink, ...

Re: Fuel Pressure problems..w/pics NOT FIXED GRRRRR

The fuel doesn't come out of the pump at 100 psi. It comes out at 0 psi. It will only increase pressure when it passes through a restriction. The stronger the pump is, the harder it can push against the restriction. If you checked fuel pressure with the return line capped off, the pump should incre...

Re: Fuel Pressure problems..w/pics NOT FIXED GRRRRR

Yeah thats what I thought to untill I took the bottom off of the cartech to see how hard it was to acually push the piston back against the spring. It's alot harder then I thought it was. Thats where I got the theroy that mayby 40psi isent enuf to bypass the spring pressure. It would need like the f...

I did some searching and I seen a few people saying wheel bearing grease, or white lyithium grease...
