Re: srt4eh’s “LAST PROJECT” - War Machine 2.6L SOHC...yes you read that right.

So after googling I found my issue. I had wired the changer to the cigarette lighter power but since it’s not a constant power it will do a full start up every time the car comes on. Well...that solves that. I’m still over it - I removed it today. Anyone want a RB1 with 6 disc and uconnect mirror? I...

I did have a boner for OEM stuff but this has just ruined it for me lol. I’ve got an old iPod touch with music on it in my srt4. It does the job. I’ll work on trying one of those sites for pictures.

We need tapatalk back - was so easy to post pictures. Sigh. What do y’all use for image hosting? Anyways - here’s the text updates lol I got my 450 fuel pump from JohnnyBoost and threw it in there. Fuel pressure is back and the car fires up immediately. It was 70 degrees today so I took advantage of...

So...dropped the tank and it wasn’t as full as I thought. Apparently running super rich will do that. Still about half a tank so I propped it up a little to make sure the pickup would be submerged and would you look at that - fuel pressure at the rail. So that mystery has been solved - don’t let thi...

I removed the feed line from the rail which should give me full fuel pressure and I got nothing out of the line. Pumps seem like they’re making the same amount of noise - hard to tell. It doesn’t sound like they’re struggling. If the temperature gets up again later this week/weekend I’ll drop the ta...

It hasn’t - I had a new 450/255 setup built for it. I had drained the gas tank when I got it and used the gas in my lawnmower. I was shocked it was still good haha. But yeah...the fuel pumps kick on but no pressure builds at the rail. I just bought a new 450 setup from Johnny Ledford. Just frustrati...

Well...now the fuel pumps are kicking on but I’m not getting any fuel at the rail. Tank has gas in it. This car is seriously cursed. Tomorrow I’ll pull the feed line off at the tank and see if it’s a clog in the lines/filter or if my fuel pump canister crapped the bed.

Somehow I hooked up my boost solenoid backwards which is why I was overboosting. Switched the lines around and we’re back in business with ~8psi wastegate pressure. I’m really happy with how she’s driving. Really smooth with low speed cruising around base and when I give it full throttle the boost c...

Unrelated to going fast...found out the dome light runs through the cluster so...no dome light for me. I also noticed the windshield wipers don’t work today. Erick and I have had issues getting the car tuned but today went pretty smoothly. Got a lot of kinks worked out until I noticed some shakiness in the front end. So - fun fact - front turn signals don’t work if you don’t have a cluster. So you’ve got to splice together the two left signal and two right signal wires. Then boom - correctly operating turn signals. I was losing my mind checking bulbs, checking voltage at the plug, checking grounds, and checking ...

I’m not a huge fan of the fenders still but I fixed the fitment. They’re much better now. I’ve got a pair of stock fenders here and if I ever get around to painting the whole car (not me...obviously I’ll pay some shop) then I’ll probably swap them out. Until then - I’m lazy and they can stay lol

Yeah I was super frustrated. Initially the alternator control wasn’t properly set and pushed max voltage through the car. Popped a bunch of fuses and fried my radio. Replaced all that and reset the settings and then had crank signal loss. Not just a little loss but like 300 times in 30 seconds. Rech...
