SO just ran the VIN.... Might be an ACR....or is just an R/T? how i tell for sure... F/R discs F/R sways DOHC Build sheet says "Competition Coupe"... According to all the neon people in that area, they say cars don't rust. Matt Laverty lives not far from most of these yards. He said if I ever needed anything, he would try to pick it up for me. The only negative is shipping..... :sad:

If you notice, when the cursor is over my pic (top), you can't click on it to take you to the Imgur website. But you can click on the Image Link (bottom) and it takes you to the Imgur website, but it is just a black screen...... :dunno:

So I used to be on this board back in the early 2000's with a '95 Base SOHC MT Coupe that i built to very go fast with lots of help and parts from this very group!. Welcome back.........not a whole lot of activity here anymore....almost everybody with neons has moved to the neons.org Facebook page....

Last local event of the year. I ran 1st heat with temps in the low 30s. Ended up winning the class by 2.13 seconds. Finished the heat in 4th overall PAX. :good: I was hoping I could make one more event this summer, but with my ACR this time. Unfortunately my family had plans for these last 3 weeken...

Those pizza wheels are awesome! I'm sure they would bring a "pretty penny" to the right person. I know the 5 bolt ones are expensive :shock: I'm pretty sure all four of them were on the car.....$20 a piece and no core charge. I decided to take Interstate 81 the whole way from Harrisburg, past Carlisle, and on to Chambersburg. The traffic was insane. Both lanes packed and tons of trailer trucks. I saw an accident near a Carlisle exit.....traffic backed up for miles..........glad I was going in the opposite direction.........

I got to Gribbles around 3:25....I couldn't remember when/what time the yard closed because they go to winter hours around this time of year. Turns out they are now using winter hours and they close at 4:00. Another 5 minutes and they would've had the gate locked...... I only had time to trot throug...

I wonder if this has been in the yard forever, or if someone drug it there from their back yard... You don't see a lot of 4 bolt stuff anymore. Probably ~1984 model year or older. I think everything except the N/A L bodies, became 5 bolt in 1985 and newer. I'm almost positive it wasn't there a few ...

Possibly could have been an amp in the Sebring, like in my project log, but from my research, convertible Sebrings are the worst place to look, due to the top either being left down, or leaking. Apparently they are under the seat, and water pools there. There must have been 20 Sebrings at this yard...

XP has older crypto libraries and as more and more websites enforce TLS 1.2 and drop support for 1.0 and 1.1, more and more things on the web will break. Ok thanks Bill.....I'll have to take another look at it....maybe pull it apart to see what's broken. I know I won't have any luck finding another trashed one in a JY. That's why I was hoping other 2GN seats were the same design.

I was soaked from my knees down to my duck boot shoes from the mud, weeds, and mist which had fallen most of the morning. It was 11:30, so I decided to head out to the next 2 U-Pulls......total bill...$44.10...... :good:

How were the fenders? I need both. Both of mine are no longer connected to the two bottom bolts. Rust all around those bolts and my fenders flop in the wind. :sad: If I remember correctly, they were in pretty good condition. There might have been some surface rust on the lips and I didn't look down...

I never took them apart, but I assume they are more like 1gn sedan seat mechanisms than the SRT seats. :sad: I took apart a 1st GN leather seat to replace the material but I honestly don't remember if there was a cable system in it....don't recall seeing one.....I'll have to look again at my SRT-4 ...

I seem to recall the coupe hardware being swapped to 2gn seats installe...
