Fixed.........
Sorry if it's a repost. GREAT article

My True Story:
My older sister/husband sent me a selfie of them taking a test ride in a newer Corvette. They posted, "Going for a joy ride in our "dream car"
I immediately posted back......" Why dream small, I can put you in the driver's seat of a neon for a fraction of the price".......
U-Pulls are like a box of Chocolates.......you never know what you're going to find...... ;)

Pretty amazing after being out of production for over 20 years that almost 9,000 people voted.........

This article coupled with the 198mph Neon is stirring up a lot of interest on social media. The masses are pouring out of the woodwork claiming their love for the Neon.

1999 Dodge R/T coupe Bright White/Brilliant Blue
"The Tao exists in the mind of a Neon owner where no concern with resale value can be found. To him, it resembles calculating the resale value of his children."

Having driven a neon hard for every day of its like, I can appreciate how CHEAP it was to keep. I was doing track days for cost of gas practically. Light weight, good power meant I didn't have need for lots of $$ for consumables.
Of course that goes out the window as you add moarrrr power. Mistake many make :)
It was good for its time. Today, Dodge has NOTHING to compare it to. Civic and corolla won the battle. Even kia and Hyundai have better choices in that size segment. Elantra GT 1.6L turbo.. its a HOOT!
For a college kid, it was a great car. Would I drive one today - no -- safety has MOVED greatly in 20 years.
This weekend we started a new autox season, for first time in 20+ years, its not with a NEON!
