Hmmmmm Tues. July 2004 noon........I had just joined in April. Wasn't online because I would've been working at that time.
My True Story:
My older sister/husband sent me a selfie of them taking a test ride in a newer Corvette. They posted, "Going for a joy ride in our "dream car"
I immediately posted back......" Why dream small, I can put you in the driver's seat of a neon for a fraction of the price".......
U-Pulls are like a box of Chocolates.......you never know what you're going to find...... ;)

I will say, I miss darksidelives.
We all do. I should break out the database backup and turn it back on. I still have a stack of decals that I had made and never shipped out. I should get around to that.

It would become the 4th forum I still check in on.
I got Bill Hahn to be a guest on Neon live chat when the Neon turbo kit was first introduced and being tested on my car. I think it was '99. We crashed the live chat with all the people joining in.

Whoa....Ben. Are you the same Ben on FB looking to buy a blue R/T?

Just checking in. Crazy how this place is a ghost town now. I have no old screen shots or anything but I'm still owed a long tube header with 1 7/8 primaries, merge collector, ceramic coated for a magnum head. I'm sure some people know what I'm talking about.
Still have my nyg srt which I'm doing something new with this spring. I'll post up when I do.

Yea, I hear ya.....I see you posting occasionally on FB. The things that really killed the .org is the problem/cost of hosting pics and most people going from computers/cameras to cell phones. In fact, I'll bet very few younger people even own, let alone use a computer anymore.

Damn...came back and what happened? I guess that means all my spare parts will have to go to the junker? That's a damn shame. This place was bumping just a few years ago!
You think this is dead? Go check out Detroit Neon Owners. There have probably been like 10 posts in the past 4 years.

Some of the fascinating discussions in The Pits I took part in.
I can't remember the thread, but I recall one where Jim (can't remember his full screen name) was trying to explain that to enter into a contract, you have the ability to comprehend what you're contracting for. Somehow this revolved around NMBLA, and maybe polygamy. He came up with this hilarious treatise NMHDLA (National Man Hunting Dog Love Association) and why it doesn't work. I wish I could find it, or had saved it.
I know there were a few threads that skirted the edge of the .org's rules that I participated in. I was glad they were allowed. Still am.
